His approach goes beyond the mats, encouraging discipline, confidence and a strong focus on both physical and mental well-being.

RAPHAEL 'RAPPHA' MORAES
1ST DEGREE Black Belt Instructor
Rapha has trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 15 consecutive years and earned his black belt under Coral Belt Master Sylvio Behring, a globally respected authority known for his sharp self-defense system.
He has competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo in Brazil and holds championship titles in Australia as well. Raphael has extensive experience teaching children and adults in Gi and No-Gi, covering both sport Jiu-Jitsu and practical self-defense.
Above all, he is a true lover of the art, dedicated to preserving its tradition while helping students build strong fundamentals, confidence and discipline.
Domenico Novello
2nd DEGREE Black Belt Instructor
Domenico began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2010 and quickly developed a deep passion for the sport.
With over 16 years of coaching experience, Domenico is known for his patience, attention to detail and ability to connect with students of all levels. Alongside his coaching career, he has built a strong competition record in both Gi and No-Gi.

Brett is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belt who has a been training Jiu-Jitsu for 10 years. Promoted to Black Belt by Lucas Sachs in 2025. An experienced businessman and an accomplished coach in other sports, Brett believes BJJ can be a fantastic way for families to get active, learn valuable skills, and build stronger relationships with each other.
The Braddah family has had a great impact on his life and hopes to share that experience with others.

DANIEL FARIA
Black belt instructor
Daniel has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2012 and earned his black belt in 2023 after years of dedication and continuous growth.
He is passionate about helping students develop not only technical skills but also discipline, self-control, and confidence, both on and off the mats.

LEO KWOK
Leo has over 30 years of experience in Wing Chun, beginning his training in the early 1990s at the International Wing Chun Academy in Sydney, where he became an instructor in 1997. He began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2017, earning his blue, purple and brown belts under Lucas Sachs. Leo now teaches both Wing Chun and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Braddah Eastwood, combining striking and grappling to provide students with a practical and well-rounded martial arts approach. He is passionate about helping each student improve their skills, confidence and overall wellbeing through consistent training.
